My fifth birthday. A broad smile was plastered on my face. I tore open the wrapping on the big box, and discovered...a stereo system. My smile faded. My Dad asked, "What's wrong? Don't you like it?" "I'd rather have a Nintendo." With those five words, my fate was sealed. The stereo was returned, and replaced with a Nintendo Entertainment System Control Deck. Forever more, I would be a gamer.

After that, my parents added an Atari 2600, then a Game Boy, then a Super Nintendo, then a Genesis, then a Playstation, and a Nintendo 64. I bought myself a Virtual Boy, then a Playstation 2, then a Game Boy Advance, then a Gamecube, then an Xbox, then a Game Boy Advance SP, then an Xbox 360, then a DS Lite, then a Wii, then a PS3, and most recently a PSP. I've collected at least 5 games for each system (except the Virtual Boy), and I still have them all (except the Game Boy I gave to my sister, the GB Advance I gave to my Mom, the Advance SP I gave to my niece, and the 360 I sold on eBay).

Along that path of console glory, I've dabbled in PC gaming. I write this on my gaming rig built with my own hands. While I couldn't quote stats or anything like that, it plays the newest games in glorious widescreen high resolution, and that's all that matters. It also has a high speed internet connection, allowing me to play games with people around the world and share Tensided, the RPG system I've been involved with for nearly a decade.

When the opportunity came along to share my love (and sometimes hatred) of gaming on Kitsune Games, I couldn't say no. Reviews on the internet, for the most part, suck because the writers are jaded or being influenced by publishers. We don't have any of that crap here, so my reviews are honest and show the love (and again, sometimes hatred) for playing the game.

Now if you'll excuse me, I've got some gaming to do.
